The first model was made of a cylindrical tube filled with coarse material to study flow in a confined state and the second was a flume with free surface for study in unconfined conditions. Using these two models, experiments were carried out for a wide range of coarse material gradations from 2.83 to 56.8 mm and under different hydraulic conditions. The results show that, when primary pressure is increased, with similar velocities in both models, energy losses in the confined condition are greater than those in unconfined states. A comparison between the experimental data and the equations proposed by Stephenson (1979) and Felton - Herrera (1991), shows good agreement for free surface conditions, while the results in confined flow show greater friction factors than those predicted by the equations. The results also indicate that hydraulic conditions may be classified between two regions for the Reynolds numbers below and above 200. As a result, two sets of relationships were adopted between hydraulic gradient-velocity and discharge for different hydraulic conditions. The equations were then verified by experimental data obtained from a different series of tests, conducted for particle sizes of 7.1mm diameter, which had not been employed in the derivation of the equations. It is believed that the results obtained in this research could be applied for determination of seepage discharge as well as hydraulic gradient in coarse-grained materials in a range of diameters and hydraulic gradients given in this paper.}, keywords = {Confined flow,Friction factor,Gravel,Reynolds Number,Turbulent Flow}, title_fa = {بررسی جریان‌ آشفته درون محیط‌های متخلخل سنگریزه‌ای تحت فشار}, abstract_fa = {بمنظور بررسی رفتار جریان درون مصالح سنگریزه‌ای تحت فشار و تعیین تفاوت یا تشابه جریان در این حالت با جریان آزاد درون این مصالح آزمایش‌هایی بر روی شش نمونه ذرات سنگریزه‌ای با اندازه‌های 83/2 تا 8/56 میلی‌متر با استفاده از دو مدل فیزیکی استوانة آزمایش (برای بررسی جریان تحت فشار) و کانال آزمایشگاهی (برای بررسی جریان آزاد)، صورت گرفت. با مقایسة نتایج مربوط به جریان درون هر دو مدل مشخص گردید که؛ با افزایش میزان فشار اولیه در آزمایش‌های جریان تحت فشار، به ازای یک سرعت یکسان، میزان افت انرژی در نمونه‌ها، بیشتر از نمونه‌های درحالت جریان آزاد می‌باشد. همچنین با مقایسة نتایج آزمایشگاهی با روابط ارائه شده توسط استفنسون(1979) و فلتون و هره‌را(1991)، مشاهده شد که نتایج مربوط به جریان درحالت آزاد با این منحنی‌ها تطابق خوبی داشته، درحالی‌که داده‌های مربوط به جریان تحت فشار، مقادیر فاکتوراصطکاک بیشتری را نسبت به این منحنی ها نتیجه می‌دهند. نتایج آزمایش‌ها همچنین نشان داد که شکل منحنی‌های فاکتور اصطکاک - عدد رینولدز برای رینولدزهای کمتر از 200 و بیشتر از 200 در جریان تحت فشار با یکدیگر متفاوت بوده، بطوریکه می‌توان نتایج را به دو بخش جداگانه برای محدودة رینولدزهای ذکر شده تقسیم نمود. با توجه به تفاوت رفتار جریان تحت فشار درون لولة آزمایش با جریان آزاد درون کانال آزمایشگاهی، دو رابطة جداگانه برای ارتباط گرادیان هیدرولیکی با سرعت و دبی تراوش در جریان درون لایه‌های درشت‌دانة تحت فشار در محدودة رینولدزهای ذکر شده بدست آمد ونتایج با آزمایش‌های انجام شده برروی ذراتی با اندازة 1/7 میلی‌متر، مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت. نتایج حاصل از روابط بدست آمده تطابق خوبی با نتایج آزمایشگاهی نشان می‌دهد. انتظار می‌رود از نتایج این تحقیق و روابط بدست آمده بتوان در جهت تعیین پارامترهایی از قبیل دبی تراوش و گرادیان هیدرولیکی جریان درون لایه‌های درشت‌دانة تحت فشار در محدودة اندازة ذرات و رینولدزهای ذکر شده استفاده کرد.}, keywords_fa = {جریان آشفته,جریان تحت فشار,سنگریزه,عامل اصطکاک,عددرینولدز}, url = {https://jijas.ut.ac.ir/article_17594.html}, eprint = {https://jijas.ut.ac.ir/article_17594_07a10cbfcae993cdb9be22578fb8bd69.pdf} }
