Mechanized rice transplanting required a seedling bed of special conditions. Information about pre-planting tillage aspects for mechanized rice transplanting in Isfahan is lacking. For this reason, suitability of some seedling-bed preparation methods for transplanting with a self-propelled walking-type transplanter was studied. A field experiment was conducted in 1998 at Kabootarabad Agricultural Research Station located 40 km southeast of Isfahan, on a silty clay soil. The effects of pre-planting tillage methods, namely soil puddling and compaction, followed by manual transplanting on soil physical properties, fuel requirement, machine capacity and rice yield, using a randomized complete block design with three replications, were evaluated. Soil puddling treatments included one and two rotary tillings (with L- and knife-shaped blade rotary tillers) and six harrowings with a locally made rigid-shank field cultivator named Khishchee. Compaction treatment involved two passes of an ITM-750 tractor over the plots. In puddling operations, in addition to a four-wheel tractor (MF-285), cage wheels in conjunction with the rear pneumatic wheels of the tractor (dual wheels) were used in some treatments. A tiller (two-wheel walking-type tractor equipped with rotary tiller) was utilized in one puddling treatment as well. The field observations showed that the puddling implements worked satisfactorily, however, the tiller was bogged down due to lug blocking of its cage wheels. This was attributed to high wheel slippage and soil adhesion. The cage wheels reduced the fuel consumption of the tractor whenever more draft was required. The field tests on the transplanter showed that, when transplanting was done into very soft soil prepared with puddling, the transplanted seedlings were buried in mud. On the other hand, when the soil was left to become firmer, the transplanter was bogged down because of its cage wheels blocking. Although the transplanter performed well in compacted plots, most of the transplanted seedlings floated on the surface of water. This was due to not having enough soft surface soil for seedling establishment. Although the bulk density in the 0 to 0.15-m layer just before transplanting was not affected by pre-planting tillage methods, the methods significantly influenced the soil density measured after harvest. Puddling with two rotary tillings (with knife-shaped blades) and compaction method had the highest and lowest soil bulk density values, respectively. Clod size produced after plowing of puddled plots was significantly higher than that of compacted plots. Cumulative infiltration was lower on puddled (with rotary tillers) plots than on control (no treated soil) and was similar to the control on compacted plots for tests conducted on the base of the plowed layer after rice harvesting. In comparison with puddling with L-shaped rotary tiller, paddy yield of puddled plots with six harrowings with rigid-shank field cultivator (conventional method), was 3% less, however, its fuel requirement and operational time were 45 and 200% more, respectively. The results indicated, transplanting with the transplanter in the seedling bed prepared with puddling in the fine-textured and sticky-soil field, which is used as a paddy field for the first time and has not undergone chemical changes to reduce its adhesion, is not recommended. Based on the results of this experiment, it is possible to produce at least similar grain yield with lower energy consumption and higher efficiency from puddling with a rotary tiller, as with conventional puddling under conditions similar to this experiment.}, keywords = {Bulk density,Cage wheel,Cumulative infilteration.,Field cultivator,Irrigated rice,Tiller}, title_fa = {بررسی امکان نشاء کاری مکانیزه در روش های شله زنی و تراکم خاک و اثرات آنها بر خواص فیزیکی خاک و عملکرد برنج در خاک رسی سیلتی}, abstract_fa = {در استان اصفهان ‘ نشاء کاری برنج بصورت دستی اجرا می شود که عملیاتی خسته کننده و کارگربر می باشد. کاشت مکانیزه برنج به بستری با شرایط خاص دارد. از آن جایی که در ارتباط با مسایل تهیه بستر نشاء در کشت مکانیزه برنج در اصفهان اطلاعاتی در دسترس نیست‘ مناسب بودن چند روش تهیه بستر نشاء برای کاشت با یک دستگاه نشاء کار دو چرخ دستی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. آزمایش در سال 1377 در ایستگاه تحقیقات کشاورزی کبوتر آباد ‘ مرکز تحقیقات کشاورزی اصفهان ‘ واقع در 40 کیلومتری جنوب شرقی اصفهان‘ در خاکی با بافت رسی سیلتی‘ اجرا گردید . در این تحقیق‘ اثرات روش های تهیه بستر نشاء‘ شامل روش های شله زنی و تراکم خاک با روش نشاء کاری دستی بر خواص فیزیکی خاک‘ سوخت مصرفی‘ ظرفیت ماشین و عملکرد محصول با به کارگیری طرح بلوک های کامل تصادفی در سه تکرار ارزیابی شد. تیمارهای شله زنی شامل یک و دو بار تردد با دو نوع خاک همزن ( با تیغه های L – شکل و کاردی) و شش با تردد با کولتیواتور مزرعه ساقه صلب (با نام محلی خیش چی) بودند. تیمار تراکم خاک با دو بار عبور تراکتور ITM -750 روی سطح مزرعه حاصل شد. ارزیابی مزرعه ای نشاء کار نشان داد که در حالتی که خاک قوام کافی نداشت‘ نشاء های کاشته شده با دستگاه نشاء کار در بستر های تهیه شده با روش شله زنی به زیر گل فرو می رفتند‘ و در صورت قوام یافتن خاک‘ در اثر چسبیدن خاک به چرخ های نشاءکار‘ دستگاه از حرکت باز می استاد. اگرچه دستگاه نشاءکار در روش تراکم خاک به راحتی حرکت می کرد و عمل نشاء کاری را نیز براحتی انجام می داد‘ ولی در این مورد چون خاک سطحی نیز فشرده بود و بستر نرمی جهت استقرار نشاء ها وجود نداشت‘ نشاء ها استقرار لازم را پیدا نکردند و تعداد زیادی از آنها پس از اندک زمانی بر روی آب شناور می شدند. اگرچه جرم مخصوص ظاهری خاک پس از عملیات تهیه بستر تحت تاثیر روشهای تهیه بستر قرار نگرفت‘ ولی جرم مخصوص ظاهری خاک پس از برداشت در روش های شله زنی با دو بار عبور با خاک همزن تیغه کاردی و تراکم خاک به ترتیب دارای بیشترین و کمترین مقدار بودند. نفوذپذیری تجمعی آب در کرت های شله زنی شده با خاک همزمان ها از تیمار شاهد (بدون عملیات) کمتر بود‘ ولی مقدار آن در روش تراکم خاک شبیه تیمار بود. عملکرد دانه در روش شله زنی با شش بار تردد کولتیواتور مزرعه ساقه صلب (روش مرسوم منطقه) در مقایسه با یک با عبور خاک همزن مجهز به تیغه L- شکل‘ 3% کاهش نشان داد‘ ولی مقدار سوخت مصرفی و زمان انجام عملیات آن به ترتیب 45 و 200 درصد افزایش یافت. استفاده از دستگاه نشاءکار در بسترهای تهیه شده با روش شله زنی در خاک های سنگین و چسبنده همانند شرایط مشابه با آزمایش حاضر که برای اولین بار زیر کشت برنج رفته و هنوز دچار تغییرات شیمیایی برای کاهش نیروی چسبندگی نشده‘ توصیه نمی گردد. بر اساس نتایج حاصله‘ تهیه بستر نشاء با استفاده از خاک همزن با انرژی مصرفی کمتر و بازده بیشتر‘ عملکرد دانه ای حداقل مشابه روش مرسوم شله زنی در شرایط مشابه آزمایش حاضر دارد.}, keywords_fa = {برنج آبی,جرم مخصوص ظاهری,چرخ آهنی,خاک همزن,کولتیواتور مزرعه,نفوذ پذیری تجمعی}, url = {https://jijas.ut.ac.ir/article_17902.html}, eprint = {https://jijas.ut.ac.ir/article_17902_a39119095b01faa800f8d9305a4a849c.pdf} }
