Rooting of one bud-cutting of four grape cultivars (Husseiny,Round seedless and Sahabi) was studied in the years 1992-93. A significant relationship was found between the average weight a complete randomized block design with 3 replications of fresh and dried roots and the time of cutting
The lowest rooting of cuttings was observed in the autumn, where as the highest rooting of cutting was obtained in the winter and early spring .Decrease in rooting of various selection times was closely related with rest periods of buds. No significant difference was observes between rooting of cultivars cuttings in various selection time.
By analyzing the rooting of grape cultivars cu4ings,it was shown that leaves on cuttings have impotant role in rooting.
According to the results, the study the best timing of cutting was during winter and early spring obtained ,and leafy cuttings can be used in summer
