In this study, seed germination and seedling growth permanence of
three grain sorghum cultivars (mamoli, Jàroei and Sarasaei) were evaluated
using four levels of nitrogen (0, 50, 100, 200 kg/ha) and two seed sizes (small
and Large). Results indicated that cultivars statistically differ in their
germination and seedling growth constancy. Different levels of nitrogen
significantly influenced only on germination permanence and the level of 100
kg/ha showed the best results. In this study it was observed that seed size has
not considerably effect on germination and’ seedling growth.
