An experiment was designed and conducted to evaluate the use of beet vinasses in broiler diet. Four isocaloric diets (with 2900 Kcal/kg metabolizable energy) were formulated, using ratios of 0, 2, 4 and 6 percent of vinasses (discard molasses), for each of starter and grower phases. The diets were fed to % one week old male chickens. A completely randomized design with 4 treatments (diets), 3 replicates per treatment and 8 chickens per experimental unit(pen) were asigned. Body weight, feed consumption, water consumption and excreta moisture content were measured weekly. There was no statistically significant difference between diets concerning above measurements and calculated feed conversion ratio. However, the difference for calculated cost of feed per kilogram of body weight was significant(P <0.05) between diets, the higher ratio of vinasses in diet the higher the cost. The effect of vinasses in diets on the ratio of the weight of liver and gallbladder relative to chickens’ final body weight was not significantly different. The results obtained in this study suggest that the use of beet vinasses in broiler diet is not feasible and not economically recommendable
