No doubt, aquaculture, same as any other economical investment, needs professional trainings and skill as of high investment of time and money .Few years ago, aquacultural extension was developed in Iran especially along with the modern era of the country. Regarding the importance of this activity, the present investigation was conducted to study the econommy of the extension trainings for fish farmers. For this porpouse 180 fish farmers were randomly selected among 850 of the fish farmers in Guilan.
Results showed that regardless of the costly extension trainings offered to the farmers, There was no significant difference in their fish production and those who did not received such trainings. But farmers’ contact with extension agents showed statistically influencial effect on their fish products should be rearrainged qualitatively in terms of the lectures’. demonstraitions, field trips and so on.
