To investgate the feeding effects of twoalfalfa aph.ids on protein and foliaqe weight reduction, following methods were used:These studies were conducted in Screening cages in wich young alfalfa plants were artificially by the certain numoer of apnids. The infested and noninfested pIants were cut and compared for yield and protein contents. The results indicated, that, the green Pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon Pisum) decreased the foliage yield of alfalfabétiê’ 27;7-75. 5 percent. The spotted alfalfa aphid (Therioaphis trifolii) also decreased the foliage yield between 20—50 percent and protein contents 25-50 percent when comparing to the check.
