This study was made to propagation cherry rootstock (P.avium cv F12/1) through micropropagation. The explants used in the study were taken from shoot tips and then were surface sterilized by mercuric chloride solution. In propagation stage, Ls medium containingMS salts, and LS vitamins along with NAA and BA were used. The most proliferation occurred in hormon mixture of O.25mg/LNAA and 1 mg/LBA The plantlets were then transferred to a modified rooting medium (LS modified) containing phioroglucinol (PG) and IBA. The highest amount of rooting was witnessed when plantlets were exposed to LS medium with 1 mg/L IBA Next, for the root to grow, the plantlets were transferred to MS medium without hormones. After a month, when the plantles were fully grown, they were moved to pots.
