Iranian native silkworms masses although not entered into commercial production, but are very important as Iranian germplasm stock. In this study the activity level of alkaline phosphatase, alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase, as well as the amount of glucose, cholesterol and total protein were determined in haemolymph in five masses namely Guilani, Khorasani, Baghdadi, Pink and Lemon. Results indicated that there are many significant differences in the level of these compounds among these five groups. Pink with mean cocoon and cocoon shell weights of 1.830 and 0.361g respectively, had the highest production, while Khorasani with 1.467 g cocoon and 0.260g cocoon shell weights yielded the least. The hierarchical analysis of the groups through UPGMA model, on the basis of biochemical characteristics, clustered Pink and Guilani in the same group. However groups of Baghdadi, Lemon and Khorasani demonstrated the highest intra-group similarity not only on a biochemical basis but also on the basis of all the integrated data.
